Bell Labs was established on January 1st , 1925, based on the research facilities of the former AT&T and Western Electric, and is now the R&D arm of Lucent Technologies.
It is said that the every advance of the human civilization has more or less being related with Bell Labs. In the past years, Bell Labs has made a vast variety of innovations including transistors, information theory, Unix and C programming language.

Researchers with any nationality are welcomed to join us. It is required that the candidates obtain a PhD or Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Communication or related fields. Our main research areas include but not limited to networking, optical networking, wireless communication, software, multimedia, etc. We hire both researchers who have just graduated from universities and researchers who have either academic or industrial research experiences.
